Starter Kit | Checklist

The following items are the recommended items to bring:

- comfortable running shoes
- ankle-high running/athletic socks
- comfortable running shorts
- comfortable t-shirt to run in
- sunscreen
- running visor/hat
- sunglasses (lightweight / preferably polarized)
- water/sports drink
- comfortable/casual change of clothes


Optional Items

- Bodyglide/Vaseline for chaffing (personal preference)
- goo/gel belt (personal preference)
- race belt (a personal preference for race day)
- salt tablets (a personal preference, particularly for race day)
- a water bottle or water belt to carry during your run (personal preference)
- tissues or handkerchief (personal preference)
- goo/gels
- supplements (personal preference)
- post workout snack (i.e. energy bars, fruit, protein shake, juice, etc.)
